No, it is a serial process. The latest image needs to be downloaded, if requested by BYE. Dithering may have to take place, platesolving, and any other dalays that you may have added to the process via the capture plan.

Things that you could try...

  • Put the camera on its own USB hub so it is not competing for bandwidth with other devices.
  • Disable your anti-virus, or whitelist BYE so it does not try to examine the downloaded image files.
  • Save the image to the SD card instead of downloading it to the PC.

For me, a 15 second delay between images is not too bad. I take 8-10 minute exposures, though.
