NIKON D7500 connection

astrombm

Question

Hi guys,

sorry for the stupid question, but I am confused here.

The D7500 has 2 different ports: one is a USB , the other is for accessories and holds a different type of connector, usually for remote control.

Which one is the one used by this software?

I tried USB, but the camera would not connect.

Thanks

Mauro

Mauro,

Use the USB port. Things that can cause connection failure...

1) An SD card in the camera with lots of images on it. This is because of the design of the Nikon SDK that BYN uses. So put an empty or nearly empty SD card in the camera.

2) If WiFi is enabled in the camera, it will connect via USB, so you have to disable WiFi in the camera's menus.

Thanks, man.

SD is empty, so only the wifi setting must be taken care of.

Will let you know!
