Freeze while downloading a picture

DoctorJack

Question

Last night, I was running BYEOS and it got to picture 18 of my light s and then 'hung'. Interestingly, earlier in the evening, I did my darks and biases with no issues. This morning, I did my flats with no issues.

These are the lines from the log around the time of the last image.

.... and then lots of lines of looking for weather

Any clues?

Per the orange banner at the top of this page...it is important to always state the complete version of BYE and the model of your camera when reporting an issue or asking for help.

The section of the log provided does not appear to reveal any issues. It shows a download image being moved from the BackyardTEMP folder to the specified Download folder. It is very similar to what I see in my log file after a trouble-free imaging run with BYE 3.2.2 and my T5i.

The title of your post does not agree with the provided log file fragment. You say that BYE froze during download, but the log shows a downloaded image having been successfully processed.

What is needed is to see a Take Picture begin, but never download the captured image.

If antivirus software is blocking downloads then you would not get any images. After that, reasons for hanging are a flaky connection/cable or the camera shutting down to protect itself or due to a low battery.
