Live view iwith Nikon d810

Question

Hi,

I am now using d810 to take the photo.
When I want to focus or find some target, I will use the live view function with planetary mode or focus mode.
I know Nikon camera can change the iso and shutter speed in live view mode to get some dark targets.
Is there any way to do the same thing in Backyard Nikon?
By the way, I tried to change the iso and shutter in planetary mode, but nothing changed.

Thanks,

Su

Yes, BYN allows you to brighten the LiveView image by changing the ISO and Snutter values. However, I believe that you have to Pause LiveView, make the changes to brighten the image, and then resume LiveView to see them. With Canon  cameras it is not necessary to Pause LiveView when making the changes.

Thanks for your answer.

I'm not sure if it is a bug.
Sometimes this function will freeze, and I can't change the brightness.
But when I pause the live view and turn it again or use the ×5 button and return,
it works.

Do you have any idea about this?

What freezes? If you click the pause button, the liveview frames aren't coming in anymore, so the last displayed image is still (is that what you mean by frozen?).

Sorry for the bad expression.
Just mean sometimes though I resume the live view, the brighten function still doesn't work.
