Unable to acquire target from cartes du ciel

Question

Version BYE 3.2.2.Premium

Canon 90D

I am trying to get the star coords from Cartes Du Ciel (4.21.4073) into BYE so I can use the advanced section to line up the telescope directly with my target. The function works for Telescopius. I have gone through all the settings of both programs and cannot see a problem. I have ASCOM set to J2000, as this is the maps used by Telescopius.

Is there something I have missed, as this function worked fine on the other PC. Now the Windows 11 laptop has this issue.

Many telescope drivers support multiple concurrent connections. Another configuration that may work is to connect both CdC and BYE to your telescope. Use CdC to center on the target object and then set up BYE to use Telescope Direct as the source for platesolving.

If you find that your driver does not support multiple connections then you can add the ASCOM Device Hub into your connection chain. Connect Device Hub to your telescope and then connect both CdC and BYE to the Device Hub Telescope and use Telescope Direct ad the source of the coordinates.

The above options don't solve your BYE-to-CdC issue, but provide a possible workaround.
