Which body D5500, or D7200?

Okay, maybe these are getting a little off-topic, but this seems to be a group that knows Nikon for AP. Of the D5500 or D7200, I've seen some data suggesting the ISO-invariance (and thus, read noise) is better on the D7200. Is it worth the $300-$400? (depending on sales) Are there other features I'd like on the D7200, as it pertains to AP? I think I read something about lossless support on the D7200, but not the D5500?

 

Any thoughts are appreciated.

The D7200 has a bigger body than the D5500 so consider that as well.

 

Both can do BULB over USB that that is good.

Is the lossless file format on the D7200 that important?

 

I had budgeted myself for getting an A7rII for both normal photography and AP. But with it not going to be what I want for AP, I did for a moment consider a D810a instead. But only for a moment.
