Video resolution in Planetary Mode

Camera is Canon Rebel SL1 - scope is Orion ED80T Apo with 3x Barlow

In planetary mode the resolution of the AVIs varies, some are 1024x668 and some 960x480.

I was wondering if this could be because I forgot push the x5 button?

The 1024x668 resolution has an aspect ratio of 3:2 which is what I would expect.  960x480 is 2:! which seems weird.  Are you sure that it was captured by BYE?

Oops! sorry the two resolutions were 1024x688 and 960x640 so both 3:2 (nearly, in the case of 1024x688).  Looking again I see that only one video was 960x640, I am almost certain that I forgot to click the x5 button.  (The image is tiny compared with the others!)

Always use 5x when recording planetary, this gives 1:1 (or very close) pixel resolution and this is the best quality you can get with a DSLR.
