Question

I purchased my Canon 7D MkII (G Version) a few months ago from Spencer's Camera who did a Full Spectrum modification, and installed their custom cooling system. I just tried this evening to connect it to BYEOS. BYEOS seems to be recognizing the camera, but is not fully initializing things so the functions of BYEOS are accessible. All it does is recognize the camera, with various nomenclature and numbers displayed. Oh yes, BYEOS does say that something about this camera is assumed. This seems to tell me that BYEOS is confused, and not fully recognizing something.
I think I am running BYEOS 3.0.3 Is there some kind of problem with this Canon Model? Or am I not setting the internal settings correctly. I copied the settings I was given for my Canon 600D. Figured they should work for this new camera also.
If anyone is familiar with this particular model, could you please tell me what the internal settings should be for it. I get the feeling I have something set the wrong way that is blocking full initialization and recognition. Does that make sense?
Before two years ago, I hadn't a clue about digital cameras, so I am still on a steep learning curve. It is difficult for me to describe things so that the savvy people understand the problems I am encountering. Anyway, I hope it is either a camera settings problem, or maybe my version of BYEOS needs an upgrade. Caley
