EOS R 5x live view support in BackyardEOS 3.2.2

I am using BackyardEOS version 3.2.2 with CANON EOS R.

In live view I am unable to get 5x view working. I thought this was now supported in v3.2.2?

In the log file I see this entry:

I take it that clicking on the 5X button does not zoom the image. Is the camera connected to a lens or a telescope?

Try different settings for LiveView AutoFocus in the camera's menus. The Face+Tracking setting can interfere.

I will say that if you look back through the archives in the BYE forum you will find other users of newer model cameras have also reported issues with the 5X zoom feature, which is so important to planetary imaging. So, obviously Canon has changed how applications must implement 5x zoom for those newer cameras. Too bad they do not provide a way to share that with the 3rd party developers who rely on the Canon EOS SDK (software library) to control the cameras.

I have the RP and liveview does work. The line above is useless without context. Please send the full log file to support [-at-] otelescope [-dot-] com, and I'll take a look.
